Immediate Action Needed

Citicorp has announced that the bank will not accept any bank accounts, loans or any ongoing businesses that deal in weapons. Many legitimate businesses that sell guns now have been forced to find another bank.

Well, what does a gun company have to do with pro-lifers?

It is called political correctness, exercised by a section of the banking business against a group of people they disagree with - just like the pro-lifers!

Citicorp is already on the pro-life boycott list for their support of abortion but now another large group of people will join us in refusing to do business with this company.

We encourage you to spread the word that Citicorp is canceling business with weapon companies and that once again, no business should be done with them.

I personally recommend that you mention the abortion position that Citicorp has taken when you write them. With two major groups going at them, perhaps both issues will be reevaluated.

We must stop the arrogance of the pro-abortion groups and companies who think they can force groups to "behave" as they dictate.

If you think that a serious boycott against a bank is useless, I would like to remind all profilers that Valley National Bank in Arizona in the 1990s changed their position on supporting Planned Parenthood when we began to cancel our checking, saving, and credit accounts.

Please write your local Citicorp bank and a copy to the Board of Directors, listing the accounts you have closed, with the account numbers listed.

Citicorp is a bank holding company for Citibank,

Citicorp
399 Park Avenue New York, NY 10043
Phone: (212) 559-1000
Fax: (212) 793-5946

OFFICERS: John S. Reed, Chmn./CEO, William R. Rhodes, Vice Chmn., Charles E. Long, Vice Chmn./Secy., Victor J. Menezes, Exec. VP/CFO, Roger W. Trupin, VP/Contr. TRANSFER AGENT: Citibank, N.A. Company incorporated in DE. Direct inquiries to: Director of Investor Relations.

We do not recommend contact through the Internet but by hard copy to the headquarters. Many corporations do not weigh e-mail as serious as a formal complaint via snail mail or fax.

You may also want to send a letter to other banks in your area, notifying them of Citicorp's decision and that you never plan to use Citicorp in the future. This will give other financial institutions a clear message that we do believe in life and liberty and our money speaks volumes!
