Abortionist Jailed

By Katherine Sabelko

Abortionist Brian Finkel, known for trying to get in the newspapers and on television and radio as often as possible, now had hit the peak of his publicity - but not the way the baby-killer wanted to be known. Accusations of sexual abuse and sexual assault that were reported in a low-class alternative-type weekly newspaper in Phoenix, The Phoenix NewTimes, September 20, alerted the public to charges the police were investigating the gun-toting, foul-mouthed abortionist.

The article, Bedside Matter, was crude in the detail of the charges covered, but the issue was shocking enough that the Arizona Board of Medical Examiners for Osteopathic physicians reviewed Finkel's file and suspended his license on Saturday, October 13, stating he posed an immediate danger to the public.

Unbelievably, the abortionist found a judge on Tuesday, October 16, who delayed the action of the medical board, thereby permitting Finkel to keep killing babies and possibly abusing more women.

Very little activity was apparent, though, at his abortion mill, Metro Women, on 7th Avenue in Phoenix for the rest of the week of October 15. The accusations that he had sexually abused more than six women cast a dark cloud of social perversion over the building.

Though a hearing to decide the legalities of the abortionist's license being pulled was scheduled for November 5, the Maricopa County Attorney's office stepped up their investigation and arrested and handcuffed Finkel in front of his home on October 24.

Finkel was charged with sexually abusing at least nine of his patients over an eight year period. The grand jury indicted him for 16 counts of sexual abuse and one charge of sexual assault.

Needless to say, the police then could take all 30 of his firearms out of his home and office. Finkel is notorious for displaying the gun on his hip and on his leg as a show of bravado to scare the rosary-armed CoR people praying outside his office.

On October 26, just two days after his arrest, nearly 40 women had come forth to claim that Finkel had sexually abused them during medical procedures. And then, on October 27, The Arizona Republic reported another 30 women, in addition to the first 40 came forth, charging Finkel with sexual misconduct.

So now, more than 70 women have had the courage to stand up against this sick man.

As of Saturday evening, October 27, big, bad Brian was still sitting in jail in Phoenix. There was no explanation given as to why he had not already posted the $225,000 bail. His wife has given the press no comment and had previously denied any knowledge of his activities of sexual abuse. Perhaps she is thinking long and hard before she attempts to get him out of jail.

And as for the man who claimed he cared about the rights of women, the world now knows what we always knew. Abortion is about killing a child, hurting the mother and causing the woman to become so self-degrading that she doesn't even have the courage to stand up for herself in this type of situation. Until now. God bless all of them.

We still pray for Mr. Finkel as we always have, but our hearts break for the poor women who were tormented by this man. Miracles do happen and perhaps Brian will be more open to Truth, the real Truth and until then, he will be facing the legal truth through the courts.
